Hey everyone!

I hope you're al doing well! We had a pretty good week! Were just continuing to do our millenial missionary work. It's been good! It also snowed a little bit here which was cool!

Keep going strong everyone! I know that our Heavenly Father and Jesus Christ are there for us and can help us along. Love you all! Have a great week!

 Dear family and friends,

I hope you had a good week and are doing well. Things are going well for the most part over here in the U.K. Our teaching has been going well. We've been teaching a lot more lately. I definitely think we are teaching more now than before quarantine which is pretty awesome. Since it's all over video call we can schedule more lessons in one day, because we don't have to travel as much.

We've been having a lot of fun in the four-man flat. For preparation day today we've been playing some Monopoly Deal. It's super fun! It kind of gives us bad feelings towards each other at times though. Just kidding haha!

One neat thing that I studied about this past week is kind of how all of us have been sent to Earth for a purpose. I think we all have certain gifts and talents that we've been given to bless others. And we all have certain roles to play in this big world. I find it pretty interesting to think about, and I've been trying to find out more about what my "mission" here on Earth is! Anyways, I hope you all have a great week. Love and miss ya!

 Hey everyone!

I hope you're all doing well amidst the craziness! I'd love to hear how you all are doing! I love and miss you all!

This past week we moved into a 4-man flat here in Cardiff. We've been having a good time with the other two elders! They are really funny! Elder Aresgado is from the Philippines and Elder Larsen is from Alpine, Utah.

We had some pretty awesome experiences this past week teaching our new friend, Danny. He is a uni student in Pontypridd. We found him on Instagram. (Never thought I'd say that on my mission). He's a great guy who just recently started believing in God. As we've introduced him to the Book of Mormon he's just been so grateful to learn more about God's word. It helped me to reflect on how much I appreciate the Book of Mormon. I'm super excited to continue teaching him and helping him come closer to Christ.

It's amazing to see how the means by which missionary work is done has changed so much in the past year. It's been interesting to compare the "old" way to the "new" way. I can definitely see how the pandemic has been a big blessing for missionaries because it's opened up a whole other arsenal that we didn't know we had. It's been a testimony to me that God prepares a way for us to accomplish the things that he needs us to do.

Happy New Year!

2020 was a wild ride! There's no doubt about that! But I can definitely say that I probably learned more this year than any other year in my life. Covid-19 definitely helped me learn more about patience, persistence, and adapting. Without the challenges of this year, I probably wouldn't have learned those things, or at least as well. So I am grateful for that. Despite the restrictions, I also made many new friendships and memories which I will remember for the rest of my life.

A quote that comes to my mind when I think of the year 2020 is one from President Nelson that says, “The joy we feel has little to do with the circumstances of our lives and everything to do with the focus of our lives. When the focus of our lives is on God’s plan of salvation … and Jesus Christ and His gospel, we can feel joy regardless of what is happening—or not happening—in our lives. Joy comes from and because of Him. He is the source of all joy.

I wish you all the best for 2021! I encourage you all to try to focus on things that you have to be grateful for and less about the things that you don't have or can't do because of the current circumstances. There is still joy and happiness to be found in tough circumstances!

Love you all!
