Hello everyone!

I hope you all have had a great couple of weeks! Things have been going well over here. We've continued teaching our friend, Lee. He's a really good guy. He's enjoyed coming to church the last few weeks. We are hoping to invite him to be baptized this upcoming week, so hopefully that all goes well. We were also able to teach Rubey and Riley this week. They are adopted children of a member in our ward. They are planning to get baptized in a few weeks which will be good!

We were also able to go to a driving range at a golf course this last week with the youth in the ward. That was pretty fun! It's been awhile since I've been golfing! The instructor there was really good, and he gave me some good tips on how to hit the ball more straight.

Our first in person district council in a long time happened a little over a week ago. That was pretty sweet! Our district is awesome! I'm grateful to have a few weeks left as a missionary, and I hope to make the most of it. It's been a great time. I love the gospel and I love being able to share it with others. Have a good week everyone!

Hey everyone!

I didn't write last week, but it's been a pretty eventful few weeks! I got a new companion, Elder Holt. He is from Manchester. We've had a great time together so far. Things are going really well in the Poole Ward. We are teaching two lads who both have expressed interest in getting baptized. Both of them came to church on Sunday as well which was great. I'm excited to see how they progress.

When I was serving in Cardiff, Elder Tang and I were teaching the Li family who are originally from China. The parents were less active in the faith, so their children had not been baptized. Elder Tang was able to help the Mother and Father a lot with some of their language barriers since he knows Chinese. The Father did not have the priesthood yet, so for months we had tried to help him get more active in the gospel so that he could baptize his children. At times it didn't seem like it was going to happen, because he wasn't showing much commitment. But just over a week ago they were able to have the baptisms which was amazing! I was able to watch it over Zoom which was a blessing! I was super happy for all of them!

I read a great quote this week from Elder D. Todd Christofferson about covenants. It says, "The covenants God offers to His children do more than guide us. They bind us to Him, and, bound to Him, we can overcome all things." I'm grateful for the promises that we can make with God and the strength that they can give us in our lives. And it's always amazing to see other's enter into those covenants as well! Have an amazing week everyone!

Love you all!

- We visited Gold Hill. There's a seen in the Joseph Smith: Prophet of the Restoration movie where it shows missionaries in England walking up this hill, so we had to replicate some of the pictures haha!

- Pictures from the Li's baptism up in Cardiff. It was great to see them get baptized!

- Also some pictures featuring the Olympic rings and Clifton Suspension Bridge.

Hey everyone!

This week was good! We were able to do a lot of service for some members. It's always good to get out!

We also played basketball with the members again! It was a lot of fun! I have to say, the bishop here is a baller! He was just draining threes and dropping some dimes! It was awesome haha!

We were also able to set up some lessons with some new people this week, so that was exciting! We're hoping it all goes well!

This is the last week of the transfer, then I will be heading into my last transfer on my mission! It's very hard to believe! I'm hoping it will be the best transfer yet. I'm really enjoying this area and the people in it. And I'm excited to continue to get to know everybody here hopefully!

I was reading some thoughts that Jefferey R. Holland gave recently about principles of leadership that Jesus Christ showed in His life. It was super great! I really like the fact that Jesus Christ's whole cause His entire life was love. And he was completely loyal and committed to that cause. There really is no better cause to have in life. I also love how Jesus Christ was a leader but also a follower and servant. He was always serving His followers, and I think that's a really good principle of leadership is serving those who you lead. He also gave all the credit to His Father in Heaven which is awesome! I love the humility that Jesus Christ has.

Anyways have a good week everyone! Love you all!
