Time is starting to go by pretty quick! I only have one more week of being trained! This past week was great! We had a lesson on Wednesday night with this super nice family from Romania. It's a husband and a wife, and they have a daughter who is 7. As we were teaching them about The Book of Mormon, their daughter was drawing a picture of it. It was super cool!
We met a guy from Wales on Wednesday who used to be taught by missionaries when he was a teenager. He said it changed his life and that he can't even imagine where he'd be in his life if he had never met the missionaries. Apparently most of his friends who he used to hang out with are in prison now, but he owns multiple businesses at age 21. So I think he's doing pretty well in life! Hopefully we can help him start coming to our branch though, because he could really help us get some young single adults in our branch and start growing it.
We went to Coventry on Friday for exchanges. Coventry was awesome! I loved it there! I was companions with Elder King again. We had a lot of fun and made a couple new potential friends.
On Sunday we went to Cardiff, Wales for a fireside. It was very uplifting! Also I saw one of the assistants to the president, Elder Toone, there, and he told me that I'm going to be training a new missionary this next transfer. I still don't know where I'll be serving, but I'm excited to train! I definitely went through some rough patches while I was being trained, so I'm excited to be able to try and help a new missionary get through those tough times. I'm really going to have to rely on the Lord though, because I still don't know what I'm doing a lot of the times, and I won't have Elder Cribbs to turn to when I have questions. So I think it will definitely be a growing experience! I'm excited for it though!
